This happy blue gigbag is brand new and a lightweight option for transporting your shamisen. Hosozao and Chuuzao will fit. It’s too slender for Futozao shamisen.

There’s no padding on the inside, so you got to be extra careful when using a softcase like this instead of a hardcase. The big upside: It’s collapsible and weighs almost nothing.

The zipper goes from the bottom around the top corner and makes it super easy and comfortable to put your shamisen in and take it out. There’s an additional pouch on the front side that will hold your bachi and a couple of other small items.

On the outside, there’s a little belt in the middle to keep your shamisen from wiggling around. I think it looks like a cute wrapped candy!
