Minyo Panda Bachi

I am not the only person referring to this kind of bachi as “panda bachi” although it is not the official name for it. Whatever you call it, I think it’s a fantastic alternative to a full bekko bachi, because it is so much more affordable and also uses smaller amounts of bekko while still yielding the bekko sound. I also like the look of it!

The blade of this panda bachi is sturdy and the tips are nice and firm. This bachi is pre-owned and the corners show very slight signs of use but are still very pointy.

This type of bachi is usually used for Minyo style, but can also be found among Nagauta players.
