Longcase | mottled red with red velvet

This pre-owned hardcase is the classic rectangular model. It is Futozao/Tsugaru Shamisen sized, but of course smaller shamisen will fit as well. The inside looks pristine, but there’s some undeniable signs of use on the inside (see photos). I assume the case stood next to a heater, because the handle’s material has lost its original red color and feels rough to the touch. I recommend wrapping some textile tape around it to freshen up the look and make it more comfortable to hold. There’s also some small cuts in the outer shell. Thus the generous discount.

Not having to take your instrument apart to transport it is a huge game changer, because you’re always ready to whip out your shamisen and play. Keeping your instrument assembled means it practically stays in tune. The hard shell keeps your instrument safe from people, doors and sneaky corners attempting to bump into your shamisen.

If your favourite color is red, this might be the right long case for you! This case has some additional protective padding and an additional handle at the short top side.

The longcase safely closes with 4 clasps. Keys not included.
