This is Kyle Abbott’s first studio album – a fun mix of mountain music, bluegrass, Japanese Folk and other songs. It’s great to listen to for widening your musical horizon and getting a glimpse of what shamisen can do and how it can be integrated in all kinds of musical styles. This is so far my personal favorite among his albums, so I highly recommend it 🙂
I also love the incredible album art. A lovely present for yourself and other shamisen lovers.
