This is a simple kind of shamisen gigbag. It is a very minimalistic lightweight option for transporting your shamisen. It’s suitable for Hosozao and Chuuzao sized instruments. There’s a little compartment on the front side to hold your bachi and accessories.

There’s some light padding on the inside, but you still have to be more careful when using this kind of softcase compared to a hardase.

The zipper runs along the long side and there’s a little belt on the outside to tighten the sleeve around your shamisen’s neck and prevent the shamisen from slipping around. The handle is also fashioned in a simple way.
