Fujimoto Ryuu is one of the biggest Minyo schools in Japan. This is a printed notation book for Minyo songs from this school.

This notation book features a selection of 38 Japanese Folk Songs including the singing part. The shamisen notation is notated in the easy-to-read tabulature notation (bunkafu). The singing melody is indicated in the same matter underneath the shamisen notation.

What’s special about this item?

This item shows stronger signs of use. The spine has been taped, there’s creases, small brown spots and pencil markings. It’s completely legible and still super fine to work with – I personally would, but I got the notation already 🙂
