Volume one of this collection of popular songs for shamisen contains 39 songs with lyrics in Japanese. It’s a colorful mix of old-fashioned popular (not traditional) songs such as “Nozaki Kouta“, “Tokyo Ondo” or “Tokyo Rhapsody”.
The music is written in bunkafu notation (tabulature) and thus very easy to read. The songs are pretty short and easy to play.
