Extraordinarily beautiful Japanese haori kimono jacket. A true favorite of mine. This haori is vintage but unused. The basting stitches are still in (a white thread) which shows it has not been worn yet.
The fabric is pure silk – smooth and luxurious. The beautifully dyed motifs stand out against the deep black main fabric. There’s some subtle but very chic golden highlights, too. The front side shows red flower motifs. The inner lining has a beautiful pattern, too. There’s white silk straps (himo) attached to fasten the haori. You can also just wear it open and let the straps hang or take them off 🙂
This haori will upgrade a casual look with its Japanese extravaganza and will look great over a kimono ensemble, too.
